The Key Bridge Emergency Response Fund is a Baltimore City Government backed fundraiser to support the families of the six transportation workers who lost their lives due the Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapse. While money can't bring back a loved one, it can help ease the burdens of the families.
Donations will directly benefit the families of the transportation workers who lost their lives.
Due the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, several international vessels have been stranded in the Baltimore Harbor until the debris can be removed from the shipping channel. That could take several months. Many of the foreign sailors aboard these ships are also stranded with limited resources. Many cannot leave their ships due to visa restrictions. The Mission to Seafarers is a nonprofit organization who will look after these sailors while stranded in Baltimore.
The Chief Petty Officers Association Baltimore Chapter is a registered 501 (c)(19) Veterans Non-Profit Associated, and is accepting donations to benefit first responders involved in Key Bridge efforts.
