Please reach us at info@boatbaltimore.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Please bring weather appropriate clothing. A waterproof jacket is always a good idea especially if there is the possibility of light rain. Note that it tends to be colder on the boat, so be prepared for the temperature to be at least 10 degrees cooler than it is on land.
The boat will have shade, but remember to bring sunglasses and hats along with sunscreen if it's sunny.
You'll want to wear shoes with non-slip, non-marking soles. Most non-marking soles are made of rubber. Leather soles will generally leave marks on the deck. Deck shoes are generally a safe choice, but if you don't have these, you could also use sneakers with light rubber soles.
Port Covington Marina - 321 E Cromwell St, Baltimore, MD 21230
Your confirmation email will include a video to help find the marina parking area and meet us in the green roofed pavilion. Be sure to arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can set sail on time.
No, at this time we are limited to six people per tour which will create an intimate atmosphere for any charter that you book!
Yes! Kids are welcome aboard. Just keep in mind that all children must be accompanied by an adult and follow safety instructions. Life jackets are provided and required for anyone under 12.
Absolutely. Bring along whatever you'd like to eat or drink (BYOB AND BYOF is encouraged!). Just keep it manageable (but please no crabs or messy foods) —space is limited—and don’t forget to bring cups, plates, utensils, and napkins.
Yes, you can bring beer, wine, and other drinks. We do recommend mixing drinks prior to coming, then just add ice on the boat. Please drink responsibly and remember that the captain may cut off alcohol if anyone’s safety is at risk.
Yes—our sailboat is equipped with a small marine restroom (called a “head”). It's basic, but it gets the job done when nature calls.
You bet. We’ve got a Bluetooth speaker on board and you’re welcome to connect your own playlist. Vibes are everything.
Sailing is a year-round, all-weather experience. While we understand that a clear sunny day is preferred, a little rain wouldn't stop us from our water adventure. Heavy rain, extreme wind, or thunderstorms are reasons we will cancel. We will work with you to reschedule or provide a credit depending on the situation.
Saeda is a Hunter Legend 45. She is 45' long and 13' wide so she is large and comfy. She sails well under just the mainsail, which makes it comfortable for our guests. Saeda has full accommodations down below deck including head (bathroom), refrigerator, stove, and sleeping for seven.
Nope. Just come ready to relax. Our licensed captains handle the sailing—you just enjoy the ride. But if you’re curious, we’re always happy to show you the ropes.
All bookings are non-refundable, and we sail rain or shine. If you can’t make it, let us know ASAP—we’ll do our best to reschedule based on availability, but fees may apply.
If we cancel due to mechanical or staffing issues, we’ll give you a credit for a future cruise. Weather-related cancellations don’t qualify for refunds or credits unless you purchased trip insurance. Safety-related cancellations (like unsafe behavior or intoxication) are up to the captain and won’t be refunded or rescheduled.

We love animals, but pets are not allowed on our standard charters for safety reasons. Service animals may be permitted with advance notice—just reach out to discuss.
Gratuity isn’t included in the booking price, but it’s always appreciated. Our goal is to provide a fun, memorable experience because we genuinely love sharing our passion for sailing. If we succeed in doing that, it’s appropriate to tip—just like you would for great service at a restaurant. Tips are evenly split between the captain and crew unless you let us know otherwise.
Cash is always welcome, but we can also accept Venmo or card tips depending on your crew. Feel free to ask your captain what works best.
We offer 10% discount to the following groups:
Active Military and Veterans
First Responders
Nurses
Teachers
For the restaurant industry, we offer 10% discount for Monday and Tuesday cruises!
