Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@boatbaltimore.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Port Covington Marina -  321 E Cromwell St, Baltimore, MD 21230

No, at this time we are limited to six people per tour which will create an intimate atmosphere for any charter that you book!

Sailing is a year-round, all-weather experience.  While we understand that a clear sunny day is preferred, a little rain wouldn't stop us from our water adventure.  Heavy rain, extreme wind, or thunderstorms are reasons we will cancel.  We will work with you to reschedule your charter or issue a full refund.

Please bring weather appropriate clothing.  A waterproof jacket is always a good idea especially if there is the possibility of light rain. Note that it tends to be colder on the boat, so be prepared for the temperature to be at least 10 degrees cooler than it is on land.

The boat will have shade, but remember to bring sunglasses and hats along with sunscreen if it's sunny.

You'll want to wear shoes with non-slip, non-marking soles. Most non-marking soles are made of rubber. Leather soles will generally leave marks on the deck. Deck shoes are generally a safe choice, but if you don't have these, you could also use sneakers with light rubber soles.

While we provide wine as part of our Sunset Cruise, you are welcome to bring food and drinks, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic (assuming you are at least 21). We ask that you drink responsibly.

Saeda is a Hunter Legend 45.  She is 45' long and 13' wide so she is large and comfy.  She sails well under just the mainsail, which makes it comfortable for our guests. Saeda has full accommodations down below deck including head (bathroom), refrigerator, stove, and sleeping for seven.

Our goal is to provide a pleasant experience for you because we love to share our passion for sailing. If we do that, it is appropriate to provide a gratuity as you would any other server. Your gratuity will be evenly divided between Captain and crew (unless you state otherwise).

We offer 10% discount to the following groups:

Active Military and Veterans

First Responders

Nurses

Teachers

For the restaurant industry, we offer 10% discount for Monday and Tuesday cruises!
